Description of the missing person
Ahmad was a tall and dark handsome man with a well-built body. He had five brothers and five sisters. He was known for his loving, caring and sometimes serious persona towards his siblings. He is best described as being a delightful person to be around. He went to Germany in hopes of finding a new job. He dreamed of getting married and starting a family of his own. He loved going to the beach.
Circumstances of the Disappearance
After some persistence from his mother, Ahmad returned from Germany to visit his family. After ten days upon his return, war broke and Israel entered Lebanon. In mid-September 1982, Ahmad and his brother, Hussein, were living with their family in Tarik El Jdide. They went out to get some bread for the neighbors and never returned.
